A couple of important auctions coming up.

John Mowbray is selling much of Ernie Leppard's collection in Wellington on November 6th. I understand catalogues are on their way to members but given the anticipated postal problems there may be delays. The catalogue can be viewed on line at:-

For anyone with an interest in NZ Dependencies the Gold Medal collection pu together by J Edgar Williams (USA) is being auctioned by Prestige (Australia) on December 5th. Their web site is:-

The Mowbray auction (with a lot of Ernie Leppard's collection) is on the 7th of November (not 6th as previously stated). That is this Saturday so not much time to place your bids. You can bid on-line via the link above.

Prestige Auctions - Edward Vll sale

There is a major collection of Edward Vll material (formed by John Williams of London) being offered by the Australian Auction House, Prestige Auctions, on March 6th 2010.

The collection covers most commonwealth territories but the sale includes some 60 lots of New Zealand and dependencies.

Allan Berry's "Life Insurance" Collection

Auckland City Stamps are featuring the estate collection of 'Allan Berry' in their public auction later this month.

Allan had a magnificent collection of Life Insurance stamps and postal history.

Auction is March 19th 2011 in Auckland, New Zealand.

Mark Benvie's "Large Gold" Full Face PH

Anyone who saw Mark's tremendous collection of NZ Full Face Queens Postal History at London 2010 last year will know that it contains some magnificent and unique material. It was awarded a 'Large Gold' medal.

The collection is to be offered for sale by Prestige Auctions in Melbourne in May.

Barry Scott Airmail Exhibits to be auctioned
